My name is Jade Neal and I am the founder of Well-Being Counselling services. Throughout my life I have been passionate about mental health and helping people through challenging times. I studied back home in the UK where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I also added an additional year in professional practice working with clients to gain the insight and knowledge in working with a range of different clients.
During my time in UK I worked in a primary school working with children from the ages at 4-11, providing play therapy and support for young people going through difficult times. I also volunteered at a women's charity working with women 18+ going through domestic violence cases.
WHY WE STARTED
I started Well-Being Counselling services in 2021 during the pandemic as a way of offering affordable counselling to individuals that were struggling with their mental health. I was aware of how hard it was for people, just like myself, who were away from home in such a difficult time so I created a space where I could offer my extensive knowledge and support to others.
Well-Being Counselling services has a strong value in creating the right setting to ensure clients feel free to express their emotions authentically. We are simply here listen to your needs and try our best to work with you to achieve whatever is it want. Whether that is to process the past, manage worries of the future or to improve the relationship with yourself and others. We want to help you manage your mental health by building a more positive mindset.
I believe that the most important aspect of therapy is the relationship that client's have with their therapist, so creating a warm and non-judgmental space is key in making every session as comfortable as possible.
I am completely person-centred based as I believe that every individual needs a tailored approach based on their past experiences and what they are currently going through. I also know the importance of having tools and techniques while working with clients so I love to incorporate different therapies during sessions like CBT or EMDR therapy.
